The researchers involved in the study determined that cannabidiol has the ability to stimulate the genes and proteins that play an important part in increasing the breakdown of fats in the body. Furthermore, they have also found out that the CBD is capable of enhancing the number of mitochondria and its activity and magnifies the body’s calorie-burning abilities. What’s really interesting on this CBD appetite study is that the researchers have discovered that the CBD has the ability to minimize the expression of proteins responsible for developing new fat cells in the body.

While some experts have suggested that white fats are capable of increasing the risk of certain conditions like heart diseases and diabetes, “browned” fats may promote weight loss by burning your body’s energy at an increased rate. After the research was completed, they came into the conclusion that CBD could encourage fat browning, which basically means that it can convert white fats into brown fats.
